High Temperature Mica

LoneStar Leeds offers high-temperature Mica, which is designed for moderate pressure but high-temperature applications up to 1000°C. Mica gaskets are suitable for exhaust and other similar high-temperature applications.

It is available in:

  • Sheet form: 1.2m x 1.0m
  • With or without Stainless Steel tanged insert
  • Filler for spiral wound gaskets or kammprofile’s, often in combination with oxidation-resistant graphite

  • Technical Properties:

    • High thermal stability up to 1000°C.
    • Excellent electrical insulation properties.
    • High chemical resistance.

  • Common Uses:

    • Exhaust and turbocharger sealing systems.
    • Furnace doors and heat shields.
    • Gaskets in power generation, chemical processing, and automotive industries.

  • Customization Options:

    • Available in different sizes and thicknesses upon request.
