PROJECT: REPAIR OF VARIOUS COOLING TOWER STRUCTURE DUE TO TYPHOON PAENG
SCOPE OF WORK COMPLETED:
Replaced damaged louvers on various cooling tower units caused by Typhoon Paeng. The following details outline the number of louvers replaced per unit:
- Unit 1: 66 pcs (East and West sides)
- Unit 2: 22 pcs (East and West sides)
- Unit 3: 3 pcs
- Unit 4: 17 pcs (East and West sides)
- Unit 5: 1 pc
- Unit 9: 16 pcs (East and West sides); 10 pcs (both sides, estimated)
- Unit 10: 2 pcs (East and West sides)

PROJECT : REPAIR OF UNIT 8 COOLING TOWER STRUCTURE
SCOPE OF WORK COMPLETED:
- Repaired the damaged distribution valve near CTF 8B cubicle (East side), including lapping of discs, leakage repair, and installation of discs and stem.
- Repaired leakage on the distribution valve platform (CTF 8B), with lamination applied where necessary.
- De-clogged and cleaned the clogged hot basin flower nozzles, and replaced missing nozzles (nozzles were supplied by APRI).
- Tightened bolts on cooling tower structures.
- Inspected and replaced missing splash bars (materials supplied by APRI).
- Applied Vulcaseal sealant to the corners of hot basin flooring.
- Inspected and replaced damaged transverse and longitudinal supports (2" x 6"), with FRP material provided by the end user.
- Replaced/ repaired damaged louvers and sidings (manlift provided by the end user).
- Inspected and installed missing drift eliminators on both the East and West sides of the cooling tower.
- Replaced/ repaired dilapidated or damaged hot basin flooring with FRP materials (FRP materials were supplied by APRI).

- Repaired leak in the hot water basin inboard at Unit 2, Cell E (East Side).

- Repaired the splash bars, holders, and drift eliminators.

- Repaired damaged splash box (Cell F, Front Side).
- Repaired leaks on hot water basin flooring inboard sections (Cell B and C, Back Side).
- Repaired damaged NCG saddle support (Cell A, Back Side).
- Repaired damaged drift eliminator (Cell C).
Unit 7 Cooling Tower:
- Replaced damaged louver casing (Back Side).
Unit 8 Cooling Tower:
- Replaced damaged louver casing (Front Side).

PROJECT: UNIT 2 COOLING TOWER REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE
SCOPE OF WORK COMPLETED:
- Inspected, maintained, and repaired critical components of the cooling tower structure at Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant.
- Secured structural connectors.
- Replaced FRP fan decks.
- Cleaned drift eliminators.
- Addressed rust on NCG pipe supports.
- Repaired the hot water basin, including sealing and replacing damaged parts.
- Removed sludge and cleaned the cold water basin and sump pit.
- Replaced damaged splash bars, hangers, and louvers.
- Cleaned debris and performed waste disposal.
- Conducted a final walk-through, testing, and de-mobilization before turn-over.

Project: UNIT 1 AND UNIT 2 COOLING TOWER STAIRCASE INSTALLATION
SCOPE OF WORK COMPLETED:
- Installed cooling tower staircases for Units 1 and 2 at Tiwi Geothermal Power Plant, Barangay Naga, Tiwi, Albay, commissioned by Aboitiz Power and Renewables Inc.
- Project completed in 20 days.
- Mobilized and set up necessary facilities and safety measures.
- Dismantled existing monkey ladders.
- Installed new fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) monkey ladders for Unit 1.
- Completed foundation work: excavation, formwork, and concrete pouring for FRP staircases and bridge interconnections.
- Installed tie backs and erected final staircase for Unit 2.
- Dismantled old structures and hauled debris.
- Conducted site walkthrough with the end user, testing, and commissioning.
- Completed final tasks, including painting and de-mobilization.
